SLG® (Solid–Liquid–Gas) is Orege’s patented sludge conditioning technology designed to improve solid–liquid separation in the wastewater treatment processes.
Unlike conventional conditioning methods, SLG® modifies the structure of sludge at the floc level, releasing water trapped within the biological matrix and improving the interaction between solids, coagulants, and flocculants. This conditioning step enhances separation efficiency across pretreatment, sludge thickening, and sludge dewatering processes.
SLG® conditioning is integrated directly into Orege’s thickening, dewatering, and pretreatment systems. By combining SLG® with proven separation equipment such as belt presses, screw presses, and Orege SLG-F® thickening systems, we deliver complete solutions engineered to achieve rapid and reliable separation performance.
Built on years of operational experience, these systems are designed to perform consistently from initial deployment without lengthy optimization. SLG® conditioning enhances the effectiveness of downstream separation equipment while supporting efficient chemical usage.
The result is improved solids capture, clearer filtrate, higher cake dryness, reduced sludge volumes, and lower operating costs for both industrial and municipal wastewater facilities.
